Asiyah: The Brave

Asiyah, the queen in Fir'awn's palace who loved the baby Musa found in the river, raised him, and chose Allah over gold and a throne. Her du'a, “My Lord, build me a house near You in Jannah”, closes the book. The stories open from Mum's glowing lantern-book, read to two little sisters, Asiyah and Haniyya.

We hope children learn that bravery can be quiet: holding on to what is true, even when the most powerful man in the land says otherwise.

Written in fully vowelled Arabic with an English translation under every line. The stories rise in level through the book, so the Arabic grows with your child, and every page pairs a full-colour picture with word cards for the key words.
